Fixed-Wing Patrols
Patrolling powerlines with fixed-wing aircraft is a useful way to detect general discrepancies in the condition of the grid. Pilots can observe broken arm braces, dislodged static lines, general structure condition, and danger trees. This is a fast and efficient way to inspect the general condition of the ROW.

Rotor-Wing Patrols
Nothing matches the capability and versatility of using helicopters to patrol powerlines. A very detailed and comprehensive inspection of every single structure can be obtained using our helicopters. Hawkeye deploys a proven inspection technique in which the helicopter hovers 10-20 feet from each structure while powerline personnel inspect through digitally-stabilized binoculars.
